openEHR Foundation Leadership changes

The openEHR Foundation has undergone a significant transition as David Ingram, the outgoing Chair, handed over to Sam Heard, the newly appointed Chair. Ian McNicoll also joins as a Director on the Foundation Board
David Ingram, Emeritus Professor of Health Informatics at UCL and openEHR President, has made substantial contributions during his tenure as Chair of the openEHR Foundation. With extensive experience in clinical, technical, and organisational frameworks for healthcare information services, David's expertise has been invaluable. He played a pivotal role in promoting the design and sharing of open, standards-based electronic health records.
We are delighted that David will remain as a Director on the Foundation Board and involved with openEHR.
Following the formalities, a few of the Foundation Board and International Board members met informally to thank David for all he has done over the years and for the support he has given to so many.
