Affiliates
openEHR Affiliate is a geography-based non-profit membership group or organisation given the capacity, by the openEHR International Board, to represent openEHR in implementing the vision and mission of openEHR and leading non-profit localisation activities in respective locales (e.g. single country, group of countries or language/culture-bound region groups with one or more jurisdictions).
The Affiliate legal entity is established locally, but the right to use the name ‘openEHR’ and to describe itself as an openEHR Affiliate is by approval of the openEHR International Board.
The rights of an organisation to operate as the openEHR Affiliate for a given territory will be assigned under an affiliate agreement with openEHR International.
