News Update to October 2018


Elected members: 
Ian McNicoll, Tomaž Gornik, Xudong Lu (recently elected) and Bjorn Naess (recently elected)

Foundation

Management Board Elections held July

Individual members and Industry Partners voted for 2-positions on the openEHR Management Board, and joining the Management Board were: -

openEHR Organisational Membership

Organisational Partnership Membership is available to jurisdictional, academic or other non-profit organisations. An annual fee is payable at a banded level determined by the openEHR Foundation and further information is available HERE.

openEHR Ambassadors

 

Ambassadors are individuals given the capacity to formally represent openEHR and lead localisation activities in their respective locales (e.g. countries, group of countries or language/culture bound groups with one or more jurisdictions).  A list of our current Ambassadors is available HERE

Changes to Governance

Work on establishing openEHR as a CIC is nearing completion.  Further information about changes will be available soon.

openEHR Days

Following the success of the openEHR days held last year, another was held in Plymouth in April and further events are planned.  To see what’s been held and coming up, see the openEHR website HERE

openEHR Japan

The 1st openEHR Asia Summit and 2nd NPO openEHR Japan general assembly was held on 27th & 28th July in Japan. Activities in Japan available HERE

openEHR Norway

What is an open platform event held in Oslo on 13th September by openEHR Foundation, Nasjonal IKT, Oslo University Hospital, Norwegian Centre for E-health Research and the Regional Health Authorities of Northern Norway, Central Norway and Western Norway.

International and Norwegian speakers shared knowledge, experience and showed how an open platform provides value for patient care and research / development.  Video Presentations are available to view HERE

openEHR China

The 1st openEHR tutorial China was held over 2-days in May this year as well as an involvement and attendance at a number of openEHR events this year.  A slideset is available detailing activities in China to date, implementations, clinical modelling, and looking ahead.  This can be viewed HERE

Change Requests and Translations

Heather Leslie has been funded to work on assisting the core CKM team with the backlog of Change Requests and Translations.

Specifications Editorial Committee (SEC)

The openEHR SEC Group manages the specifications in openEHR and two new members were welcomed to group in June, Seref Arikan and Sebastian Garde.
