CKM Installation requirements

Server core requirements

  • Linux or Windows server system with connection to the internet
    • minimal 512 MB RAM
    • recommended 2-4 GB RAM
  • Java JDK 1.5 or higher
  • Possibility to remote connect for installation and updates of CKM
  • Access to a SMTP-Server for sending mails from CKM

Additional software required

  • Tomcat
    • recommended: Version 5.5.x or 6.x
    • HTTP Port: (e.g.) 8080
  • Mediaflux (the underlying asset management system)
    • Needs MAC address for Mediaflux license
    • HTTP Port: 8081 or 8085

    When you talk of Mediaflux, that means that you must buy a commercial license of it to install and use the CKM?
