In order to install lxml version 1.3.6 in the sandbox on my Ubuntu 8.04 system, I had to install libxslt1-dev as an administrator first.

And the svn co command needs to end with a dot, I think.

The libxslt issue doesn't exist now. There were so many conflicts on the machines at the LNCC workshop I was forced to remove the lxml eggs from the buildout. It seems best to leave any of those up to developers that may need them specifically. hopefully these incompatibilities will be fixed in the future?
