Re: Demographic Archetype Model
Thomas and Rong,
thank you for this information, it
is a lot clearer for me now, how the AM works, and the problems I've
found
working with the demographic archetypes.
The AM pdfs for
common, datatypes, datastructures are still in the spec-dev archive, in
my case that led me to confussion.
thanks again

Hi there,
I've been trying to open openehr-demographic-person.person.draft.adl
with 0.99.1a ADL editor and I get the following message:
Error Loading: ITEM_STRUCTURE = PERSON -> ITEM_TREE
The editor currently only supports the EHR reference model, not the
demographic reference model. It is not a problem of a "demographic AM",
which used be our way of doing things. Now there is only one, generic
archetype model (see AOM, under architecture/AM at
http://www.openehr.org/repositories/spec-dev/latest/publishing/index.html).
2 times.
After a while I realized that the Demographic AM is not yet available,
so it is possible this is the reason why ADL Editor has problems.
I am however able to open this archetype with the adl workbench, and
edit it with notepad.
But I imagine that if the archetype does not work with adl editor it
will not be usable with the kernel, until, again
the demographic am is integrated to the kernel.
It is actually usable with the kernel - the kernel handles both the
demographic and EHR models, and all the models below - i.e. the entire
openEHR reference model. It is just the editor that is currently out of
step.
