The CHIME department, University College London, is hosting a 2-day training course on openEHR and SNOMED CT at the Whittington campus, Archway London on 29 and 30 September.

The programme is as follows:

Day 1 - Introduction to openEHR - Thursday July 24, 2008:

• Overview of the openEHR Architecture
• The specifications and how to use them
• Relationships with other standards - HL7, CEN
• Understanding archetypes and templates
• Introduction to clinical modeling

Day 2 - Clinical Modelling - Friday July 25, 2008:

• Building clinical models - archetypes and templates
• Using terminology with openEHR
• Clinical modeling and alignment with SNOMED CT
• Hands on training with clinical modelling tools
• Governance of archetypes and how to participate

Lunch, Tea & Coffee will be provided.
