New discussion list for Implementers CORRECTED
Sorry to have to send this again, but some of the links went wrong.
David
There is now a fourth discussion list available called "implementers".
Please read about it below.
If you wish to join this list, please go to Community then Membership and
tick the box for this list. Please also check your other details while you
are there, particularly your email address. . Thank you.
Description: This mailing list is for those implementing openEHR to discuss
low-level technicalities in detail, including methods of programming,
tools, schemas and so on.
Please be aware that postings to this list are expected to be very
technical and very detailed. We suggest you only join this list if you are
happy to receive such postings.
To join this list: Check the openEHR-implementers checkbox in your openEHR
membership profile. Non-members will need to join openEHR first. Go to
http://www.openehr.org/cgi-bin/membDB-login
To send information via this list please address your email to
openehr-implementers@openehr.org .
Using the List: In order to make it easy to follow a 'thread' of
discussion, please follow this advice:
1. The instigator of a new topic should choose a short relevant title for
this topic which should be placed in the Subject: line of the message.
2. Someone responding to this message should place re: <topic title> in the
subject line. If the responder wishes to include the original message as
part of his message, the new material should go at the bottom.
3. The same principle should be followed for a response to the first
response, using re: <topic title> as the subject line, and placing the new
material at the bottom.
This methodology makes it easy to follow a thread - the newest material is
always at the bottom of the latest message - and a newcomer can easily see
the contents of the thread in natural chronological order from the top.
