Important new developments in openEHR
Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted here to inform you of some important new developments from
the openEHR Foundation.
1) New web site: <http://www.openEHR.org>http://www.openEHR.org
The web site has been completely redeveloped. It now provides versioned
access to all of the openEHR documents and software, significantly improved
support material, FAQs, help for new visitors, and of course the community
pages, discussion groups and news.
2) Formation of the Architectural Review Board:
The Foundation has formally appointed an openEHR Architectural Review Board
(ARB), with 8 members, to review future changes proposed to openEHR
specifications and software.
3) Adoption of the BitKeeper repository:
openEHR public materials have been moved to a web-accessible version
control system called BitKeeper, enabling reliable access and collaborative
development on software and documents.
4) Release of version 0.9
Version 0.9 of the openEHR specifications have been published, on this
repository, and are available under the "Repositories" button on the
openEHR home page menu.
You will receive the formal letter of announcement of these changes, and of
welcome to the members of the Architecture Review Board, from Professor
David Ingram, in a separate e-mail.
With best wishes,
Dipak
