Recent modifications to the openEHR site
Dear Colleague
We have just finished making some additions and improvements to the openEHR
web site, which I hope you will like.
There is now a new chapter called "About openEHR", which contains what we
hope is useful information for all levels of reader, and includes the start
of a structured Frequently Asked Questions facility.
In the "Active work" chapter, you will be able to see what work is current
and the probable timescales for its release. Linked to the page is a set of
Change Requests and a summary of them, showing progress and status. This is
part of what we intend to be a proper Change Management facility for
openEHR to encourage and allow colleagues to submit proposals for change to
the openEHR products, and to have them dealt with in a regulated manner.
Part of the control of this facility will be an Architecture Review Board,
currently being set up.
In the "Standards" chapter we now include some information on HL7,
particularly the harmonisation work that is going on between HL7, openEHR
and CEN. Latest news from the CEN EHRcom task force is also included
together with access to its documents for review.
The latest version of the specification documents is available as always,
and you will also find some tidying up of Copyright information.
With best wishes
David Lloyd
