The openEHR Architecture Review Board (ARB)

Introduction

The ARB is openEHR's Architecture Review Board, which was formed in March 2004 (announcement) by David Ingram, Professor of Health Informatics and Director of the Centre for Health Informatics and Multi-disciplinary Education (CHIME), UCL; (home page).

It is tasked with managing the change control process of the products. board currently has 7 members, is chaired by Thomas Beale, and operates according to the governance processes of the openEHR Specification Project. The voting procedures are described in the Terms of Reference , and the rules for change control are described in detail in the openEHR Change Management Plan.
